Match Report Press Report

Abshot 1 Lost to Trojans 1.

With the away team having higher Gradings in 5 of the strings, Home advantage looked to be needed to take the win. The stats turned out to be correct, with a fine Away win.

On paper, the number 1 string should have been the closest, with only 45 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Ben Coleman, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 5 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 82 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, Paul Martin.

Player of the tie was the Home No. 5 string, Paul Martin, gaining 70 Ranking Points from the match.
